We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Guest Relations Manager to join our team in a varied and exciting role.
As Guest Relations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive a superior level of customer service. In this role, you will be in charge of managing VIP bookings and profiles, ensuring a seamless experience from the time of booking, check-in and check-out. As Guest Relations Manager you will also continually train an manage a team of Porters to consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Our ideal applicant will have:
- Previous experience in similar role within a luxury hotel (4.5-5 star) is essential for this role
- LCQ Certificate is required
- Full Clean New Zealand Drivers Licence is required
- Flexibility to work all shifts including nights, days, weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proven track record of training and developing staff
- Ability to manage and exceed service standards
- A sound understanding of Opera PMS would be advantageous
- General Managers Certificate and First Aid Certificates are preferred
- A valid visa to work in New Zealand for at least 6 months
- Local knowledge of Auckland CBD is preferred
