Are you ready to get involved and get social? Do you live this mind-set? We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance to join the team at our new hotel.
Reporting to the General Manager, your skills in maintenance processes will be utilised to implement and manage Preventative Maintenance throughout the Hotel. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to actively work within the Hotel environment. You will also be providing guidance on compliance, health & safety, energy saving and technical issues to Operations, General Manager and the hotel based engineering team and you will assist with the planning and implementation of hotel capital projects as well as daily maintenance and operations.
Ideally you will be trade certified with experience in a similar role. You will have refined organisational and general administrative skills, and experience leading and motivating a team.
To apply you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Focused on delivering outstanding service experience through inspiring trust, respect and taking ownership.
- A minimum of 5 years Chief Engineer, Director of Engineering or Maintenance Manager within Hotel or Large Facility, (Hotel, Hospital, Cruise Ship, Retirement village), engineering related role
- Trade qualified
- Proven facilities or maintenance management experience
- Excellent communication skills and highly organised
- Computer literate – MS Word & MS Excel, BMS
- Proven track record to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Boilers, Pool and Refrigeration
- The ability to work hospitality hours and be on call when needed
