Recruitment and Induction Coordinator
M Social Auckland is looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join their professional and creative team.
This lifestyle hotel is located in a prime location in Auckland's CBD right by the entrance to the Viaduct. Although currently operating as a managed isolation facility, it is business as usual when it comes to HR and recruitment.
In this role you will be working closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department to recruit any new vacancies that arise, as well as inducting the new employees into their roles. You will be responsible for advertising positions, screening and shortlisting any new talent and conducting reference and background checks where required.
On the induction side, you will be responsible for the entire induction process. It will be your duty to correlate all the required paperwork, train the new employees in the necessary protocols, arrange logins and give them a comprehensive tour of the hotel. You will need to be well organised, personable and empathetic, exceptionally well spoken and comfortable speaking to a group. Through this you will develop and maintain strong professional relationships within the hotel, supporting employees where needed.
For this role, the ideal applicant would have:
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator role
- High level of English both spoken & written
- The ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Incredibly personable and empathetic
