We are Kingsgate Hotel Greymouth. Together with Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, we are one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators and part of an expanding international network of hotels. We are known for creating memorable guest experiences that start from the moment our guests walk through the door. As travellers reignite their passion to explore this region, we need a polished professional with a wide smile to welcome them back.

That's where you come in.

This is a key, multifaceted role. You be required to help out front desk and occasionally other departments like food and beverage and housekeeping to ensure smooth and efficient day to day operation. Performing duties such as check in and out, room allocation, reservations, cash handling, guest complaints, cleaning, room preparation, laundry and food and beverage service throughout the hotel.

You pride yourself on your ability to communicate at all levels and maintain your cool head whilst solving problems under pressure. You are looking for a role where guest comfort and safety is paramount and you are respected for your high standards. This part time role is for a minimum 30 hours per week. Availability for mornings, evenings and weekend shifts is required.

You have at least 2 years of hotel front office experience, ideally in 4+ star environments and previous management/supervisory experience will be an advantage. A General Managers Certificate would also be advantageous.
